The villa is surrounded to the rear by large, leafy, tropical plantlife offering privacy and beauty. It is constructed using natural materials throughout and has a coconut thatch roof. To the front of your villa is the sun veranda which leads on to your private, large sundeck equipped with sunloungers, parasols and a table with chairs, not to mention your private, full-sized, freshwater swimming pool with a poolside daybed and an environmentally friendly rainwater shower.

The Maldives is an Asian island country located in the Laccadive Sea in the Indian Ocean approximately seven hundred kilometers south-west of Sri Lanka. The capital of the Maldives is Malé which has a well connected international airport with regular flights from Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. The island is just a thirty-five minute speedboat journey from Male International Airport. This transfer will be arranged prior to your arrival.

The bedroom is luxurious and spacious. It has a king-size bed dressed in natural fabrics and lots of soft, deep pillows. There is a dressing room to the rear of the bedroom with full-length mirrors. The more modern features include a flat screen television and a DVD player. There is a desk area and plenty of comfortable built-in seating areas about the room. The bedroom is peaceful and warm, decorated using neutral tones and textured, light fabrics such as the bedding and drapery. The room is beautifully lit by many elegant standing lamps which help create the desired ambiance.

The bathroom is a beautiful, spacious and private area located to the rear of the villa, behind the dressing area. It is fully fitted with twin wash basins, shaving mirror, ample shelving for personal items, a large terrazzo bathtub for two and there is also an outdoor rainwater shower. The stone tiled floors with pebble detailing and the tropical plantlife create a charming jungle-like bathing experience.

The range of the activities on the island is not limited to sunbathing and admiring the awesome beauty of your surroundings. There are literally dozens of activities to choose from for complete beginners and seasoned professionals alike.

You can go island hopping and explore the other islands of the atoll, spend the day on a nearby desert island and have a picnic or go on a daytrip to Male, the capital of the Maldives and shop in the local markets, try some local delicacies and go sightseeing.

You can take a sunset cruise on the turquoise lagoon in privacy and luxury on a charter yacht. Dine on deck under the stars, choose a wine from your personal wine cellar and allow the gentle waves of the sea to rock you to sleep.

Why not explore the underwater beauty of the Maldives and go snorkelling or scuba diving. The Maldives is home to a wide variety of exotic marine life and pristine coral reefs and the warm, crystal clear waters and tropical climate make this a very pleasant experience in a premier world diving destination. Diving equipment and lessons are available on the island from qualified PADI instructors. There are also a full range of PADI certification courses available. Above the water you can go windsurfing, waterskiing, jet-skiing, parasailing, sea kayaking, sea fishing or go on a catamaran sailing adventure with your own skipper for the day.

On land you can go swimming in the island's infinity pool, work out in the fitness centre, take tennis lessons or play with an island professional if you want a challenge or if you would like to play some beach volleyball or badminton just inform the staff and they will set up a court right on the beach for you.

If you're in the mood for something a little more relaxing why not partake in a morning meditation and yoga session on the beach with the island's professional instructor. There is also a cooking club where you are instructed in the art of creating Maldivian and Thai dishes, a flavour of the Orient which you can keep forever and recreate at home.

The Spa and Wellness Centre offers a full range of body treatment such as ginger baths, manicures, Ayurvedic massage, detoxifying treatments, floral footbaths, aromatherapy massage, oriental foot massage, Thai massage, facials, nail treatments and waxing.

There is a wonderful variety of dining options available on the island to suit any occasion and any palate. For breakfast, why not try out the breakfast buffet at the Sunrise Cafe or local dishes at the Maldivian Pavillion with grilled meats, fresh seafood and homemade breads.

For lunch, how about a traditional Italian meal at the Terrace Bistro with stunning views of the reef, offering homemade pastas, seafood spreads, wood-fired pizzas and a range of fine Italian wines.
