This beautiful, romantic island is an ideal location for honeymooners. It offers an escape to a remote part of the world which can be whatever you want it to be. There are over one hundred species of birds, four species of turtles and sea turtles, coconut crabs and samango monkeys. Above the water, you can go fishing with the island's expert fishing instructors, take a sea cruise and go whale and dolphin watching or go sea-kayaking around the island. Below the water, you can go scuba diving with the island's expert PADI instructors. Mozambique is one of the top ten world diving locations with spectacular underwater cliffs and reefscapes. The meeting of hot and cold ocean currents give rise to an amazing variety of tropical wildlife such as dolphins, reef sharks, giant clams, sea turtles and the visibility is excellent.
There is also a spa and wellness centre on the island. They offer a wide range of treatments, some of which are completely unique to the island. The staff use blends of locally sourced minerals, sea salts and seaweed to create their beauty treatments. They also offer a full range of massage therapies and there is an Ashtanga yoga instructor on the island and at your disposal.
