This beautiful, private island paradise is ideal for families or friends traveling together. It offers an escape to a destination a little more off the beaten track but it’s worth every extra step. Take a stroll along the white, coral beaches, lounge in the sun by the warm, turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean or take part in some of the more exciting activities on offer such as sea-kayaking, snorkeling, whale watching, fishing or scuba diving.
The villas are very spacious, made of timber with palm thatched roofs, ocean-facing and are completely private, commanding their own part of the beach. There are two king-sized, ensuite bedrooms adjoined by the central, decked lounge area and a sun veranda equipped with sunloungers. The villas are designed to capture as much of the sea breeze as possible but there are overhead paddle fans in each room if required.
The thatched, open dining room is located in the main lodge or the island restaurant is located on the south beach. All meals are prepared by expert chefs from locally sourced produce. If you have any special requests that don't appear on the menu, all you need do is ask and the staff will do their utmost to accommodate you. Dining is also available in your villa upon request or you can take full advantage of your location and dine on a deserted beach. All meals and local wines and beers are included.

If you're looking for a little more excitement then there are plenty of options available. The island is a nature reserve, home to many varieties of tropical wildlife. There are over one hundred species of birds, four species of turtles and sea turtles, coconut crabs and samango monkeys. Above the water, you can go fishing with the island's expert fishing instructors, take a sea cruise and go whale and dolphin watching or go sea-kayaking around the island. Below the water, you can go scuba diving with the island's expert PADI instructors. Diving equipment and classes for children are also available. Mozambique is one of the top ten world dive locations with spectacular underwater cliffs and reefscapes. The meeting of hot and cold ocean currents give rise to an amazing variety of tropical wildlife such as dolphins, reef sharks, giant clams, sea turtles and the visibility is excellent.
There is also a spa and wellness centre on the island. They offer a wide range of treatments, some of which are completely unique to the island. The staff use blends of locally sourced minerals, sea salts and seaweed to create their beauty treatments. They also offer a full range of massage therapies and there is an Ashtanga yoga instructor on the island and at your disposal.

The island is located in the Quirimbas Archipelago, a string of over 30 coral islands in Cabo Delgado Province, northern Mozambique.
